What makes Flare9 better than other site builders?
Sweet Simplicity. Rather than bombarding you with features that only 5% of customers ask for, we have focused on creating a system that is easy. Pick a Theme, provide some content, and you are done. By taking features away, we have created a system that lets you focus on your message, not your website.
Why don’t you offer phone support?
Simple, It costs lots of money to hire phone support staff. And they don’t know anything anyways. Use the support ticket system, and the guys that actually built flare9.com will answer your question.
I lost my password, how do I get a new one?
Go to your admin screen at http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin and use the “Lost Password” link. Supply your username and email, and a new password will be sent to you. We do not know your password.
How do I change my nameservers
Depending on where you registered your domain name, you simply need to modify the Nameserver setting in your domain panel. Remove existing nameservers and add ns1.flare9.com and ns3.flare9.com. Here are instructions for GoDaddy.
What are Nameservers?
Nameservers aka NS records aka DNS are like post office addresses for the internet. A nameserver is a network server that when asked, tells the internet where to find a website.
Can I change my design at anytime?
Yes you may. Use your admin interface to choose from any our available designs. All your content, pages, and blog posts will move with your new site.
Do I own my Flare9.com website?
For all intensive purposes you do, but technically you are leasing the Flare9.com platform from us. You own all the content and material you supply to the system to create your website, assuming you created it yourself… which you did right? View Terms of Service.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
No. Our billing system will bill your credit card on file every month for service. If you choose to cancel via the cancel button in your account profile, your website will remain live until your next billing cycle at which time you will not be charged, and your website will be deactivated. Your website will remain this way for 3-6 months and you may start your service up again at anytime. After 3-6 months your website may be deleted from our system.
Can I have more than one website?
Yes. At this time you may simply sign-up for another account at anytime. Although you will have to manage multiple logins and accounts.

Who designs the Flare9.com websites?
We do, as well as independent designers around the globe.

Can I supply my own design?
No. The nature of our system requires that we add sugar and spice and everything nice to a design so that it is compatible with our system.
Can you do a Custom Design for me?
Not at this time, but soon…
Isn’t this just a glorified Wordpress system?
Flare9.com is based on Wordpress, a great open source blogging tool. We have made many custom and unique enhancements to the application to make it easy for you to create your own website. We have also automated the hosting and email setup for you to make it even faster to get started.
